Timer and vote

Timer and Vote sit in the Session strip at the foot of every board. Start a countdown the whole room sees, or open a dot vote with a budget of dots on the notes in a room. Results tally live, and revealing a vote walks the room through the top picks one at a time.

One person runs the room

Hand someone the facilitator baton and the tools that run the meeting answer to them alone: the timer and the votes. No two people starting timers over each other. Nobody holds it by default, anybody can be given it, and the owner can always take it back.

Drop a Bring Focus element, press it, and everyone else is offered a jump to it: your tab, the thing you mean, centred on their screen. It asks rather than drags, so nobody loses the place they were working in.

Spotlight the room on one thing

Switch on Spotlight and the board dims under a soft shroud, with only a circle of light around your cursor. Walk the room through a busy board one piece at a time, and nobody else’s view is touched.

A laser pointer everyone sees

Switch to the laser and your cursor leaves a glowing trail on everyone’s screen. Point at the thing you mean while you talk it through, and the trail fades on its own.
